29/08: Ubuntu: The adobe flash plugin has crashed

Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich grössere Probleme, bei einer Ubuntu-Installation und Firefox Flash korrekt zum Laufen zu bringen.

Das Plugin war zwar installiert, ist aber immer wieder gecrashed (Fehlermeldung: The adobe flash plugin has crashed).

Auf die Lösung haben mich folgende zwei Seiten gebracht:

Beim ersten Link hat es eine allgemeine Anleitung mit einem extra Abschnitt zur Installation von Adobe Flash. Beim zweiten LInk hat mir Kommentar #7 geholfen:

For some reason the Gdebi had not installed the flashplugin properly: after I installed it by hand and moved libflashplayer.so to the .mozilla/plugins directory, everything was back to normal.

Genau das war das Problem. Das Plugin wird unter gewissen Umständen nicht ins richtige Verzeichnis installiert. Somit: Gelöst.
